Dr David Nelson

Clinical Director
Dr Nelson is the Clinical Director of Cranmore and was the first dentist in Northern Ireland to obtain a Masters Degree in Dental Implantology. He has a wealth of experience in all aspects of dental implants including placement, restoration and bone grafting procedures. He regularly accepts referrals from other dentists in relation to dental implant treatment.Committed to continuing education, Cranmore has been approved as the Irish Training Facility for the University of Central Lancashire, Institute of Postgraduate Dental Education, Masters Degree in Implant Dentistry, with David as Lead Clinical Supervisor. He is also a Tutor at the School of Dentistry, Queen's University Belfast, where he delivers lectures in relation to dental implants to undergraduates.
David is the Northern Ireland Facilitator for the British Society of Oral Implantology and a Mentor and Study Club Facilitator for the International Team for Implantology. He has also established the Cranmore Academy which delivers a series of clinical and non-clinical CPD accredited study clubs for dentists.
Dr. Nelson is a Consulting Member of the British Society of Oral Implantology, Member and Mentor for the International Team for Implantology, Member of the Association of Dental Implantology, Member of The British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Member of The Society for The Advancement of Anesthesia in Dentistry and Member of The British Dental Association.
