Consultant Oral and Maxillo Facial Surgeon
Eiad Qudairat is on both Specialist Registers for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery held by the General Medical Council and Oral Surgery held by the General Dental Council. He is both medically and dentally qualified.
Having qualified in Medicine and Dentistry from JUST (Jordan University of Science and Technology), Eiad moved to Northern Ireland in 2000 to pursue a career in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery both clinically and academically. He was awarded a PhD from Queens University Belfast in the field of facial injuries. He has worked in multiple hospitals throughout the UK during which he has achieved the FFDRCSI(OS), FDSRCS, MRCSI, LDSRCS, FRCS(OMFS) and the interface fellowship in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
Eiad treats conditions which affect the mouth, jaws and face including orthognathic surgery (facial profile surgery). He has also worked in the field of head and neck cancer.
Eiad worked as the Clinical Lead for the regional OMFS services and is currently the Associate Postgraduate Dental Dean for NIMDTA. Reflecting his commitment to education, Eiad lectures internationally including as an external international OMFS examiner.
