A bridge is the most traditional form of treatment for tooth replacement, spanning the gap between the missing tooth and the two adjacent teeth. To ‘fix’ the bridge in place, the two teeth either side of the missing tooth are cut down and the bridge is created by crowning the cut down teeth with the missing tooth suspended in-between. The bridge can be made out of various materials, giving a natural appearance that can be matched to your existing teeth.

  • Natural Appearance.
  • Improves Functionality.
  • Initially a cheaper alternative to an implant.

  • Less support and stability than secured options.
  • Bone and gum deterioration may occur under the gum.
  • Involves preparation of adjacent teeth.
